Right now the Hokie Storm Chasers are headed South from North Platte, NE towards the Nebraska-Kansas border in an attempt to catch some discrete cells. Morning discussions were a bit ambiguous so there will be a lot of in-car analysis and discussion during the next few hours as they try to locate the warm front associated with the current low-pressure system, along with areas of unstable air and adequately strong low-level and deep layer winds.
